i-Saksham is a grassroots non-profit organization committed to empowering marginalized youth, particularly young women, in underserved regions of India through education and leadership development. Founded with the belief that change begins within communities, i-Saksham trains local youth to become "edu-leaders"—individuals who take charge of their own learning and drive educational change in their villages. Operating in remote and backward areas, the organization addresses challenges like poor learning outcomes, early marriage, gender discrimination, and lack of educational access. Through its fellowship program, i-Saksham equips young women with subject knowledge, life skills, and confidence to become effective community educators and change-makers. These fellows not only transform their own lives but also inspire the children and families around them to dream beyond social boundaries. i-Saksham fosters a culture of voice and choice, where women can assert their aspirations and lead lives of dignity, independence, and purpose. By creating local learning ecosystems and nurturing leaders from within, the organization envisions a future where education is inclusive, gender-equitable, and community-driven. With continuous mentoring, capacity building, and strong community engagement, i-Saksham is building a movement of empowered individuals who are reimagining rural India from the ground up.
